The gallery

The gallery is the third view of the editor, next to Canvas and Script. It shows every image and clip the project owns, including versions a scene no longer uses, so nothing you generated or uploaded is ever out of reach.

Opening it

Pick Gallery in the Canvas | Script | Gallery switcher in the top bar. The scenes list and the Manan panel stay alongside it. The URL gains ?view=gallery, so a link opens straight into the gallery. People with view-only access can browse, download and copy links, but not change anything.

What it shows

Scene images and clips — the current one and every earlier version.
Images and clips generated in the Manan chat.
Files you uploaded.

Not here: voiceover and music, finished renders (see the Renders list), and the pictures kept in document image banks.

Each item carries its prompt, the model that made it, who made it, when, its size and duration, and whether it is in use — referenced by a scene, a project setting or the showcase. New media appears as jobs finish; no reload needed.

Browsing

Grid — one flat grid, newest first.
Timeline — the same cards under day headings (Today, Yesterday, then dates).
Stack edits — on by default; folds an edit lineage (original → refine → refine → animate) into a single deck with a count badge. Hover to fan it out, click to expand it inline; the cover is the version currently in use.
Filter by Images / Clips, or Current scene to see only the media of the scene selected in the scenes list — including variants edited off that scene’s image in the chat.
Search matches prompts and filenames.

Stacks, filters and search work over what has loaded so far; keep scrolling to load older media into them.

The details panel

Select one item and the panel opens on the right (desktop only). It shows a large preview or player, a Versions strip of the whole lineage with a dot on the version in use (click to inspect another), the prompt, and the metadata.

Footer actions:

Assistant — attaches the image in the Manan composer. Nothing is sent until you do.
Document — add the image to a document’s image bank, or start a New document from it. Banks that are full are shown disabled.
⋯ More — Download, Copy link, Restore to <scene>, Set as image / clip for <scene>, Delete.

Using media on a scene

Three ways, all free:

Drag a card onto a scene in the scenes list. The scene takes it as its image or clip.
Set as image / clip for <scene> from the ⋯ menu or the right-click menu — applies to the scene currently selected in the scenes list.
Restore to <scene> — for an earlier version of a scene’s own media, puts that version back through the scene’s history, so the change is itself reversible.

A scene that is generating cannot be changed until the job finishes. Whatever the scene showed before stays in the gallery and in its history.

Selecting several

Click selects one; Ctrl/⌘-click toggles; Shift-click selects a range; Esc clears. With two or more selected a bar offers Delete and Clear. Right-click any selected card to act on the whole selection: Download (N), Send to assistant (N), Add to document, New document from images. Copy link, Restore and Set-as always act on the card you clicked.

Download and links

Download saves the original file, named after its filename or its prompt; several files download one after another. Copy link copies the item’s permanent URL, which works anywhere without signing in.

Deleting

Delete removes the file from storage; it cannot be undone. Items that are in use cannot be deleted — change the scene’s image, project cover, music or logo, or remove the showcase entry first. A bulk delete skips protected items and reports anything that failed.

Manan and the gallery

Drop an image onto the Manan composer, or use Send to assistant, to hand it over: Manan can set it on a scene for free, blend several into a new picture, or add it to a document. Manan knows when you are looking at the gallery.
